Potevano farlo in tinta unita.
Invece, Le Icone / Furniture & Decor]] ha mantenuto intatti gli strati di patina che sono emersi durante il restauro di questo antico mobile.
Il risultato: un po’ come sezionare un tronco d’albero e scoprire le venature a forma di anello.
Sarà, ma io davanti a queste cose mi emoziono ancora: in un mondo che tende a buttare e dimenticare troppo, il fatto di preservare il ricordo e la memoria anche di un oggetto apparentemente semplice, è pura poesia per i miei occhi.
They could have painted it in a solid color design.
Instead, Le Icone / Furniture & Decor]] have preserved the patina layers that they found during the restoration of this ancient piece of furniture.
The result is almost like cutting the trunks of old trees and finding the ring-shaped veins.
Well, I still get touched by these things: in a world where people tend to throw away or forget too much, the fact of preserving the memory of something – even of an apparently simple piece of furniture, looks like pure poetry to me.
