Celebrating 10 years of Borgo Silentio
In August 2016, we bought Trullo Silentio.
Back in 2014, Luca came home one day and said:
“We should buy a trullo in Puglia. I think it’s going to be the right move for our family.”
And here we are, 10 years later.
Three villas to rent, one apartment downtown, and finally, one villa just for ourselves.
So much has changed over these years, but one thing has only grown stronger: our love for this land. Every single day, just as it was on the very first day.
We couldn’t be more grateful that life brought us here.
Watching our son grow up in this place, waking up to blue skies almost every morning, feeling the presence of the sea, the light, the silence… these are things that are almost impossible to put into words.
But if you have ever been here, you know.
You know what this place feels like.
To everyone who has stayed with us, shared a meal with us, walked through our olive trees, watched a sunset from Borgo Silentio, or simply spent a few days here — thank you.
You are part of our story too.
Ten years of Trullo Silentio.
Ten years of Borgo Silentio.
Ten years of choosing this place, again and again.
And somehow, it still feels like only the beginning. 🤍
