I've spent one week at Casa Carlotta, and i'm so satisfied with the choice I made. The appartment is in a 19th century building in such a great location, it's in the center of the modern part of Palermo but very close to the historical part, so no need to take a bus or a car..everything is so close! On top of that, the host, Carlotta, is a very nice, open and sympathetic person. She helps with localizing places you want to see, provides you with any practical and useful information on the city you might need. She is fun to chat with and discuss the Sicilian culture, cuisine ect. She took me to Mondello and helped me discover so many things that perhaps only locals know. So, I feel I've been really lucky with Carlotta, especially when my neighbor in Casa Carlotta, a Chinese student from Paris, said her money was stolen in her previous airbnb appartment where the host had about 60 positive references! So, I strongly recommend Casa Carlotta as a nice place to stay, as well as a great quality/price ratio. For Russians: прекрасная квартирка для спокойного, приятного проживания в хорошем районе, без всяких проблем с хозяйкой, очень хорошее соотношение цены и качества! рекомендую!
