🎙 Guests or Invaders? That’s the question we’re bringing to the table — literally.
This Tuesday at the Palermo, MojoCoHouse hosts a roundtable on what really happens to a city when new people keep arriving.
No easy answers. No feel-good consensus. Just honest conversations between people who experience Palermo very differently:
🤝 Natalia Kinga Bialobrzewska — social entrepreneur, founder of Kontakt Kollektiv (Hamburg)
🏛 Pippo Bisso — cultural operator, decades-deep in Palermo’s creative scene
🌍 Dr Nada Al-Hudaid — anthropologist researching migration & belonging (Lund University)
🏗 Giuseppe Arici — architect, founder of MojoCoHouse, questioning his own impact
✈️ Jagoda Stefańska — nomad, entrepreneur, advocate for ethical business
🎓 Andrea Machì — PhD in Economic Sociology, born and raised in Palermo, studying the city he loves through the lens of urban tourism
Moderated by Mariaelena Busani — independent researcher specialising in urban ethics, sustainable mobility and night-time policies. Through Connexxa and NightFlows she researches the experience of people at night towards cultural events. She evaluates complex projects for the European Commission and teaches sustainability and social responsibility.
Who wins, who loses, who decides? Come and bring your own story.
