What captures your imagination?🌅
For us, sometimes it is the people who walk through our doors and somehow feel as though they have always belonged here. The ones who arrive curious. Who notice things. Who want to try something new, change the plan, follow an idea just to see where it goes. Pablo has been coming to stay with us for two years now, and there is something about his energy that feels very close to what we wanted this house to be filled with from the beginning. Young, vibrant, creative, but above all curious. Curious about people, places, food, ideas, and all those little moments that tend to happen when you leave enough space for the unexpected.
Maybe that is why having him around feels so natural.
We have always wanted this house to be more than a place to sleep. We wanted it to be somewhere that makes you want to look around a little differently. To try something you normally wouldn’t. To meet someone new. To take the long way home. To leave with a few more stories than you arrived with.
And perhaps the nicest part is that sometimes the people who come through our doors leave a little of that feeling behind for us too.
Pablo is one of those people✨

What Captures Your Imagination?🌅
For us, it’s the feeling that some days all we want is to be free, move around and have no plans at all. And some days here in the south are simply better that way. No lido, no booking, no sunbed. Just a towel, a pair of swim shoes, a cold beer somewhere along the way, and the freedom to stop when the sea looks too good to pass.
We love lidos too, and we love our partners who always help us find a beautiful spot in the sun for our guests. But part of what we love most about Puglia is that some of the best moments happen when nothing is planned. A hidden beach you find by mistake. A restaurant you had never heard of. A swim you weren’t expecting to take. That, for us, is a big part of the Deep South. Of course, every now and then we are very happy to spend a day stretched out on a sunbed too. But when we want to really feel the coast, this is usually how we do it.
So if the idea of a more spontaneous, real Puglia captures your imagination, here are a few of our favourite stops from our day by the sea yesterday.
Save this one for a slow day on the Adriatic.

For six nights this September, we’re breaking our own rules.
Palazzo Piccinno usually asks you to stay for at least two nights. But summer has left a few small spaces in our calendar, so for these dates only, we’re opening the doors for just one night.
Come in the afternoon. Find your place by the pool. Open the bottle of sparkling wine waiting for you. Wander into Parabita for dinner, linger in the piazza, then come back for a late-night swim.
Wake up slowly. Breakfast in the garden.

One night. Plenty of time to disappear for a little while.

Six Nights Only.
September 2026.

We’ve been a little quiet on social media lately. But for a very good reason.🌅 We’ve been busy spending real, beautiful moments with everyone who comes through the doors of the Palazzo.
This week, we found ourselves looking back at everything that has happened in our garden this year — and at just how much joy this little piece of green has brought us.
The garden was always meant to be a place to connect, and to disconnect. To simply be you.
To gather. To be alone. To lose yourself in a book. To groove to the sounds of our local friends and DJs. To mingle with the locals, share a glass, meet someone new, and celebrate together.
A garden that can be whatever you need it to be.
Today, we’re sharing a few highlights from the moments that filled it this year. This season has been something very special. To every guest, friend, neighbour, artist, musician and familiar face who has been part of it with us: grazie.
You are what brings our garden to life

What Captures Your Imagination?🌅
For us, it is mornings filled with the unknown. We love breakfast here at the Palazzo. The world already asks us to make so many decisions, so this is one we happily take away from you. There is no menu to study and no buffet to wander around. We believe breakfast should arrive at your table—freshly prepared, generous and full of little surprises. No two mornings are ever quite the same. Something hot, something cold, something sweet and something savoury. Each day, a new journey.
All you need to do is take a seat.✨

What Captures Your Imagination?🌅

We have always believed that no place should ever be seen through just one pair of eyes. Puglia reveals itself differently to everyone who walks through it. Its beauty lies not only in its landscapes, but in the countless ways it can be interpreted, remembered and shared. That is why we love inviting friends, artists and creatives to tell their own stories of this corner of the world. Puglia Surrealista was born from this simple idea: there is no single version of Puglia—only personal ones.

These photographs are Tom’s (Tomasz Bączyk | Photography ) He has a remarkable way of seeing. His lens lingers on people, fleeting gestures, light and colour—the quiet details that often pass unnoticed. Through his eyes, Gallipoli becomes unmistakably his own, while somehow feeling familiar to all of us.
Perhaps that’s what makes a place truly memorable: not how it looks, but how it is seen✨

And here goes the final glimpse of Rosso Coltura: one day, one street and an entire community wearing red. Because sometimes, the most beautiful things happen when we simply come together.

Summer is rarely remembered in wide angles. And no one captures the sun at full force in our garden quite like Tomasz Bączyk | Photography✨
