La costruzione del Baglio Cappello risale al 1700 ed è di proprietà della famiglia Cataldo da quattro generazioni. L’azienda, di circa 10 ettari, è gestita da Daniela Adamo e si trova nell'agro di Partinico a circa 40 km da Palermo. Ci dedichiamo alla coltivazione di circa duemila alberi d’ulivo scegliendo l'agricoltura biologica al fine di sviluppare un modello di produzione che impieghi sostanze

naturali e processi di coltivazione virtuosi. Daniela, da sempre appassionata di buon cibo, si è laureata in Scienze Gastronomiche nell'omonima Università nata e promossa da Slow Food. Oltre a dedicarsi al fondo agricolo di famiglia Daniela organizza delle Cooking Class per turisti e appassionati di cucina. L'obiettivo è sia quello di far riscoprire la storia e la gastronomia della cucina siciliana utilizzando ricette del passato o dimenticate, sia quello di educare alla selezione delle materie prime, scegliendo esclusivamente prodotti stagionali a km 0 da produttori locali: uno Show Cooking dall’orto al piatto!
