Within the rolling green hills of Tuscany lies a tiny 17th century village of 320 hectors (about 800 acres), rich in woodlands, olive groves and a magnificent panoramic view. In an Act dating back to November 1044, found in the archives of Pisa, was the property deed of the Pratello territory. Since then, noble families have owned this land and built a luxurious villa upon it around 1650. Today th

e territory has been transformed into a unique countryside residence, named Pratello Country Resort. Services: heating, air conditioning, Wi-Fi internet access, internet point, TV LCD satellite, telephone, frigobar, safe, free parking area, mountain bikes, tennis court, swimming pool with chairs, sun-beds and umbrellas, pool bar, restaurant, billiard room, runway. Meal services: Breakfast buffet is served from 8 to 11 in the restaurant or, in case of good weather, on the panoramic terrace. The buffet consists of cheese, salamis, eggs, yogurt, and various seasonal, organic products from the area. There is also a choice of fruit juices, espresso, tea, caffè latte or cappuccino. A light lunch is also available at the pool side bar as well as snacks, ice cream and cold drinks. One may even dine at the Pratello Restaurant where the chef prepares a four course meal each night, either indoor or on the panoramic terrace in good weather. It is also possible to take part in guided tours of the garden, of the property or of the olive groves, with tasting of the organic extra-virgin olive oil produced on site.
