Il Borgo Lu Puleu è un autentico villaggio rurale che affonda le proprie origini nel XVIII secolo. Il borgo è costituito da uno sparuto gruppetto di case basse, in pietra, alternate a piazzali di diverse dimensioni, cortili, e giardini per lo più ricoperti da un rigoglioso manto di prato sardo (rustico), interrotto e protetto da muretti a secco e monoliti di pietra lavorati dal vento, oltre che d

a vegetazione spontanea tipica della macchia mediterranea. Il borgo sorge in cima ad una collina (circa 500 metri sul livello del mare) che guarda ad est, verso il monte Limbara e le sue incontaminate vallate, e ad ovest verso la valle del fiume Coghinas che corre come uno specchiato serpente verso il mare, e quindi l'infinità di quest'ultimo dove si vede calare il sole in un tripudio di colori. A morning among the herbs of the Borgo.

A botanical walk, gathering wild herbs and, afterwards, a small workshop dedicated to creating aromatic salts.

Our guests learned how to recognise the plants, select them and combine their flavours, turning what they had gathered into something entirely their own.
