Pizzo is a small town with an old historic center, beautifully located on the Costa degli Dei (Coast of Gods) between Amalfi and Sicily - less than 4h drive from Naples, 2 1/2h by train from Sorento, 2 1/2h drive to Taormina in Sicily, and just 30 min (25 km) from the International Airport Lamezia Terme (SUF) in Calabria, Southern Italy.

Our Story

In 2006, we found the "palazzo" and felt in love.

Over the years, I chronicled our renovation project, filed inspiration and stories, and mused about life in Italy on my blog “Palazzo Pizzo”.

In summer 2011, the house was finally ready to move in. Pizzo became our European home base while residing in Asia. We are spending as much time as possible in our beautiful home by the sea, and are happy to welcome family and friends.

In 2012, our renovation story found a mention in The New York Times.
