For all the Italian community today, August 15th, we are celebrating Ferragosto.
For the village of Positano this recurrence is even more special since we will be celebrating our Virgin Mary of the Assumption, the most important spiritual guide for the entire community of Positano.

The lengend says that our Virgin Mary choose Positano as Her house while her painting was travelling in the middle along our coastline.
In the moment that the ship arrived in front of Positano the captain heard a voice telling “Posa Posa” asking for being dropped off in front of the village in the middle of the sea.
In the exact point where the painting of the Virgin Mary was found by locals, nowadays is erected the main church of town in Her honor.

We are glad to be chosen from our Virgin Mary as Her is glad to have found a timeless house in our village.
