One month from today, Fabrizio Bosso will be joining us in Praiano.
On Friday, September 25, the M’Ama! terrace will host the closing event of the fifth edition of Margherita in Jazz, featuring one of the leading names in Italian jazz.

On trumpet, Fabrizio Bosso, joined by the Alessandro Florio Trio, with Alessandro Florio on guitar, Alberto Gurrisi on Hammond organ and Giovanni Scasciamacchia on drums. The repertoire will explore some of the great American jazz standards, with blues and soul influences, through the dialogue between Bosso’s trumpet and the sound of Florio’s Hammond trio.

As is tradition with Margherita in Jazz, the music will be accompanied by M’Ama!’s culinary proposal: a concert dinner featuring a special buffet menu dedicated to selected products and Slow Food Presidia from Campania and the Amalfi Coast, with wines included.

Venerdi 25 settembre, la terrazza del M’Ama! ospiterà l’appuntamento conclusivo della quinta edizione di Margherita in Jazz, con uno dei nomi più importanti del jazz italiano.

Alla tromba Fabrizio Bosso, accompagnato dall’Alessandro Florio Trio, con Alessandro Florio alla chitarra, Alberto Gurrisi all’hammond e Giovanni Scasciamacchia alla batteria. Il repertorio attraverserà alcuni dei grandi standard del jazz americano, con influenze blues e soul, nel dialogo tra la tromba di Bosso e il sound dell’hammond trio di Florio.

Come da tradizione di Margherita in Jazz, alla musica si affiancherà la proposta gastronomica del M’Ama!: una concert dinner con uno speciale menu a buffet dedicato ai prodotti e ai Presidi Slow Food del territorio campano e della Costiera Amalfitana, vini inclusi.

Maiolica has been part of the visual language of the Amalfi Coast for centuries.

Its history is tied to the Mediterranean and, here in Campania, to Vietri sul Mare, where ceramic craftsmanship became one of the most recognisable expressions of the local culture.
Over time, decorated tiles also became part of the architecture, covering floors, walls and façades and bringing colour into everyday spaces.

Colourful maiolica floors run throughout Hotel Margherita, with patterns and palettes changing from room to room. This variety is part of the identity of our boutique hotel.

So while the Amalfi Coast invites you to look out towards the sea, every now and then, it is worth looking down too.

La maiolica fa parte da secoli del linguaggio visivo della Costiera Amalfitana.

La sua storia è legata al Mediterraneo e, qui in Campania, a Vietri sul Mare, dove l’artigianato ceramico è diventato una delle espressioni più riconoscibili della cultura locale.�Nel tempo, le piastrelle decorate sono entrate anche nell’architettura, rivestendo pavimenti, pareti e facciate e portando colore negli spazi della vita quotidiana.

I pavimenti in maiolica colorata attraversano tutto l’Hotel Margherita, con motivi e palette che cambiano da una camera all’altra. Questa varietà è parte dell’identità del nostro boutique hotel.

E così, mentre la Costiera Amalfitana invita a rivolgere lo sguardo verso il mare, ogni tanto vale la pena guardare anche in basso.

There are plenty of ways to spend a hot August day on the Amalfi Coast, and the right one depends on what you’re looking for. Here’s one we often suggest at Hotel Margherita.
The day starts with a full breakfast, then head out early and choose where to spend the morning: Amalfi, Ravello, a few hours at sea or a boat tour along the Coast, depending on whatever suits the day best.
Around lunchtime, back to the hotel for something light by the pool and a break from the strongest heat.
Later in the afternoon, head out again and see a little more of Praiano.
By then, an aperitivo sounds like a good idea.
Finally, dinner: M’Ama! or Nonna Nonna? Two different ways to end the day.

Ci sono tanti modi per trascorrere una calda giornata di agosto in Costiera Amalfitana e quello giusto dipende da ciò che si ha voglia di fare. Questo è uno di quelli che suggeriamo spesso all'Hotel Margherita.
La giornata inizia con una ricca colazione, poi si parte presto scegliendo dove trascorrere la mattina: Amalfi, Ravello, qualche ora in mare o un boat tour lungo la Costiera, in base a ciò che si adatta meglio alla giornata.
Verso l’ora di pranzo, si torna in hotel per qualcosa di leggero a bordo piscina e una pausa dalle ore più calde.
Nel tardo pomeriggio, si può uscire di nuovo e scoprire un po’ di più Praiano.
A quel punto, un aperitivo sembra una buona idea.
Infine, la cena: M’Ama! o Nonna Nonna? Due modi diversi per concludere la giornata.
