Recap of our Yoga & Hiking Days in Sardinia: ☀️🌿🏝️🧘

Last week, we spent hiking along the beautiful coastline of southern Sardinia, exploring Capo Ferrato, Capo Spartivento, the amazing beaches and enjoying yoga on our rooftop terrace and on the beach. 🥰

We couldn’t have asked for better weather! Blue skies, sunshine, turquoise water and wonderful trails made every day a pleasure. And sharing these experiences with such a lovely group made the week even more special. 💓🙏

A beautiful mix of movement, relaxation, time by the sea, good company and moments to reconnect with ourselves.

This is what our Yoga & Hiking Days are all about: discovering Sardinia on foot, enjoying the nature and finding a little more balance along the way. 🌊🧘‍♀️

✨🙌🪷 It‘s a wrap! Our Retreat season 2026 has come to an end, with this beautiful bunch of people under the guidance of , studying Ashtanga Yoga intensive, Acro yoga, Handstands and Yoga philosophy 🌈🙌 - under the Mediterranean sun ☀️, enjoying delicious Blue Zone kitchen 🍋🍉, with the stunning sea view from our Surya rooftop shala. 😍🕉️

It’s been such a lovely season, with beautiful people, inspiring connections, happy moments, mindful practice, sharing Blue zone and Yoga philosophy with likeminded souls 💛🌺🏝️🙏

Next week, we welcome our Yoga & Hiking group, and wrap up the season by exploring the stunning beauty of the island! 🥰🤩

A little glimpse into our final Surya Mini Retreat of September: 🥰

A small, beautiful group. An intimate atmosphere. Quiet mornings, mindful movement, nourishing food and plenty of time to simply be.

Our Blue Zone-inspired lifestyle is all about finding joy in the simple things: moving your body, eating fresh seasonal food, connecting with others, spending time in nature and giving yourself permission to slow down. 🪷

And somewhere between the morning practice, a swim in the Mediterranean and dinner together, something beautiful happens: strangers become friends, and a few days start to feel like a little escape from everyday life. 💛

Bosa, che bella! 💓🌈 Paddling along river Temo, along the colourful houses of this cute little town, the green river banks and tranquil surroundings of Bosa, with a refreshing breeze around the nose, the silence of the calm waters and the beautiful sounds of nature accompanying us… 💚💙

Experiencing Sardinia apart from the sea holds such a special magic. ✨

On our days off, we love taking short trips with our bikes, boat or hiking shoes to explore the island. And there is plenty to discover! Especially now, as the cooler, less crowded low season has started, is the best time for that 😍🙌💛

August, you were a hot mess and kept us really sweaty 😅. But still, you were beautiful, brought us wonderful guests, fellow yogis, and aloooot of lovely warm sundowner evenings at the sea. 🩵 Therefor we love you! And you are the heart but also the end of summertime. 💘
So please come back next year, but a bit milder 😅🙌

✨ Today we are delighted to welcome a new group of wonderful people to our 4 Day Surya Mini Retreat. 💓

We are really looking forward to spending these days together, filled with yoga, self-care, good food, island vibes connection and fresh inspiration! 🏝️☀️🧘‍♀️

Our last retreat at the end of July, the Surya Full Summer Yoga Retreat, was a week spent with a wonderful group of women who arrived as strangers and left as friends! 🌺💞 We’d like to thank all the participants for this lovely week together – here are a few snapshots to share with you. 🙏

✨ We close our retreats with a Ritual Cacao Ceremony - a beautiful, heart-centred moment of connection, reflection and letting go. 💞

Cacao has been used in ceremonial traditions for centuries. The cacao plant has a long cultural history, particularly among Indigenous peoples of Central and South America. Traditionally, cacao rituals have been connected with community, prayer, celebration and ceremony.

With the ceremonial cacao of HERBAL CACAO • Ceremonial Cacao & Herbal Blends we create a gentle and mindful cacao experience. We begin by slowing down and connecting with the cacao, followed by a heart-opening meditation, personal reflection and writing down our thoughts and feelings, pausing and listening within. 🙌

At the fire ceremony we find a symbolic moment of release: 🔥 letting go of what no longer serves us, acknowledging what we have learned, and making space for what comes next.

There is something deeply powerful about sitting together beneath the Sardinian sky, surrounded by nature, sharing silence, stories and warmth.

These cacao ceremonies are not only part of our retreats, we also integrate them on special occasions, whenever there is a reason worth celebrating, reflecting on or simply gathering together.
And a little more space to feel what is truly important. 🤎🔥

- große Yoga und Sonnen-Dachterasse mit Holzpergola
- das Apartment im Haus hat circa 50 qm, zwei Schlafzimmer mit Badezimmer, Klimaanlage und Fernseher
- große Wohnküche zur gemeinsamen Benutzung, wenn wir auch vor Ort sind, ansonsten alleinige Benutzung

We are subletting a part of our house during winter months, from the beginning of November to the end of March, for a minimum of 3 months (preferably 5 months).
Key details:
- large house with garden and private parking
- peaceful, green setting with sea view
- large yoga and sun terrace on the roof with a wooden pergola
- the flat in the house is approximately 50 square metres, with two bedrooms, an private bathroom, air conditioning and a TV
- large kitchen for shared use when we’re also on site, otherwise for your exclusive use
- No pets (cat(s) on site)
- We are located in Salmagi, between Cagliari and Villasimius
- Own car essential as it is a quiet, secluded location with no infrastucture within walking distance
- Supermarkets, restaurants, etc. are about 10–15 minutes away by car
Ideal for:
• Individualists and people who enjoy peace and quiet and being surrounded by nature
• Remote working
• A timeout or a trial stay in Sardinia
Minimum 3 months; monthly rent €450 for one person / €500 for two people per month
