On 12 and 13 September, Kalemana Festival comes to the beach at Punta Marina for two days of yoga, movement, music and wellbeing.

🏵️ Passeggiando per Ravenna potresti incontrare piccoli fiori in mosaico accanto a portoni, negozi ed edifici pubblici.

Non sono semplici decorazioni.

Sono i “Fiori di Ravenna - Città amica delle donne”, un progetto nato dalla collaborazione tra il centro antiviolenza Linea Rosa, il Centro Internazionale di Documentazione sul Mosaico, il MAR, CNA e le mosaiciste della città.

Ogni fiore, ispirato alle decorazioni bizantine, è un simbolo di accoglienza e testimonia l’impegno della comunità nei confronti delle donne che vivono situazioni di difficoltà e violenza.

Un modo discreto ma profondamente ravennate di affidare a piccole tessere un messaggio molto più grande.

As you walk through Ravenna, you may come across small mosaic flowers beside doorways, shops and public buildings.

They are not simply decorative.

They are part of “I Fiori di Ravenna - Ravenna, a Women-Friendly City”, a project created through a collaboration between the Linea Rosa anti-violence centre, the International Centre for Mosaic Documentation, the MAR Art Museum, CNA and Ravenna’s mosaic artists.

Inspired by Byzantine decorations, each flower is a symbol of welcome and reflects the community’s commitment to supporting women experiencing violence or difficult circumstances.
A discreet yet deeply Ravennate way of entrusting a much greater message to a handful of tiny tiles.

⛵ In autunno l’Amerigo Vespucci farà tappa a Ravenna.

⚓ La storica nave scuola della Marina Militare arriverà in città in occasione delle celebrazioni di Ravenna Capitale italiana del Mare 2026, titolo assegnato quest’anno per la prima volta.

La data e il programma della visita non sono ancora stati comunicati, ma è sicuramente uno degli appuntamenti da tenere d’occhio per chi sta pensando a un soggiorno autunnale a Ravenna.

This autumn, the Amerigo Vespucci will call at Ravenna.

The historic Italian Navy training ship will arrive in the city as part of the celebrations for Ravenna, Italian Capital of the Sea 2026, a title awarded for the first time this year.
