We’re thrilled to welcome The Monastery to the Smookitalia group! Nestled in the hillside hamlet of San Pietro a Marcigliano, just north of Lucca, this charming retreat is surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. Originally constructed in the 1550s, The Monastery has been thoughtfully transformed into an elegant family home, preserving its historical architecture. 🏡✨

We started working with Massimilian and Pamela from Podere il Belvedere in 2024 and setting the place up has been quite the rollercoaster. 2025 has started, we have many meetings, fights about soccer teams, and bottles of prosecco behind us, and we are happy to present the video of Podere Belvedere.

With a 9.7 guest rating on Bcom it's the most appreciated farmhouse of the SmookItalia group by our guests, undoubtedly because of the heartwarming effort and kindness Massimiliano and Pamela put in every single day. They actually live on the farm with their daughter Lavinia, and staying at Belvedere is simply like staying at their home.
