Thank you so much, Mark, Floris, Paul & Dickey, Geert & Annette, and Ruben for setting up the bar, cleaning the sanitary facilities, repairing the chicken shed and replacing the roofs of the safari tents. Wow, what a week. Powerrrr!

Preview: fantastic news!! This romantic cottage, ‘Il dolce far niente’, owned by our son Ruben and his girlfriend Edna, will soon be available to rent, just 1 kilometre from Sasso Corbo. This is not a naturist site, but as guests you can make free use of all the facilities at the campsite: the bar, swimming pool, communal meals, pizza and dance evenings, guided walks – you name it. Dear guests,

We're already looking back on our 14th season. And it certainly didn't start smoothly. Due to late deliveries and weather conditions, several projects still had to be completed in April and the beginning of May. But thanks to the help of many, the new safari tents and the pizza oven were inaugurated, and we were ready for another wonderful season.

And now, just look at that new family photo; how our boys have grown, in every way. We secretly look back at the family photo from back then, in 2010. And suddenly, it dawns on us that we're on a wonderful journey.

Gratitude prevails. We are grateful that Sasso Corbo crossed our path, that we can be here at home and share our beautiful place with you. We are grateful for all the wonderful and special encounters with you and the joy we share together. And we are grateful for the ever-dedicated support of our friends Geert & Annette.

But this year, more than ever, we are grateful that we can do this as a family. "It's really starting to feel like a family business," we've heard you say every now and then.

Enough looking back, now let's move forward. There are many new ideas and plans. More than we can probably realize. We're ready for the next step on our journey. But not before we enjoy a little holiday ourselves.
