Aeroporti di Roma has inaugurated - on July 27th, the “Vax & Go”, the first fast-track vaccination point inside an airport terminal, dedicated to passengers who are traveling and want to get vaccinated directly at the airport, as well as to airport operators.
The facility will operate 7 days a week from 8am to 8pm and will stock both Pfizer and Moderna mRNA vaccines, and Johnson&Johnson single dose viral vector vaccines.

“We must help Italians to regain their freedom; our Region intends to play a role in this process, and the new “Vax & Go” center represents a new opportunity to do so,” Nicola Zingaretti, President of Regione Lazio, stated at the inaugural ceremony this morning.
“Since the beginning of the pandemic, Aeroporti di Roma has been experimenting and innovating, becoming a European benchmark of how to create a system to overcome difficulties; we are grateful for this collaboration, which has made a huge difference in our Region.”

“After the opening of Italy’s first major Italian vaccine hub on the 11th of February 2021, it is with pride today that we launch Vax & Go, further proving Aeroporti di Roma’s firm commitment to take part in dealing with the Covid-19 health emergency. It is only together that we will overcome this emergency and we are proud to contribute with small, big steps that can aid the Country in its recovery,” Marco Troncone, CEO of Aeroporti di Roma, added.
