💌Rome’s cobblestones keep whispering…

A couple of new Nesters from 🇧🇷Brazil had just left our 📍TBN in Trastevere when we bumped into this message in Portuguese, right in front of our building:

In this cynical era of algorithms, where numbers count much more than humans, people too often use reviews just to judge and criticize.
Can you believe that they even rate the Colosseum, the greatest art masterpieces, and any other cultural milestones? 😌👎

Obviously, only to express criticism!
Most of them never rate the things they’ve actually enjoyed, the same things they chose thanks to those beautiful souls who write reviews to support dreams, rather than just to tear them down. 😉👍

These Brazilian Guests believed in ours, and we will always be grateful to all our Best Nesters who understand that a review is like a hand: you can use it to punch 👊 , or to help 🤝.

This is what happens when your workday falls on the Day in Rome!🚴🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️…🇮🇹

Honestly, we had quite an intense Sunday:
it started with our guests checking out at 6:30 am ⏰ and finished with our Guests checking in at 9:00 pm!🌙

In between, we also managed to catch a (very quick😅) glimpse of these guys, though!❤️

No wonder people from all over the world came to see them zipping around the Eternal City!
Truly impressive!⚡️

We are honored that both our Nests are within walking distance (just a few steps for our TBN Suite, actually!) from the distinctive magnificence of Piazza and Palazzo Farnese…⚜️

The Palace, which currently hosts the 🇫🇷French Embassy, boasts the genius of
✨Michelangelo✨among other Renaissance artists who made it one of the most beautiful and impressive buildings in Rome.

It is called ‘the Dice’ 🎲 for its majestic square shape, while the piazza in front is renowned for its exquisite elegance and giant fountains. ⛲️
Can you believe that these marble tubs come from the Baths of Caracalla? 🏛️

And the best part?

🌻On May 1st, Primo Maggio, 🇮🇹Italy celebrates International Workers’ Day with a public holiday…

How did your TBN’s hosts spend their May Day yesterday?

Working all day long!💪😅
More precisely, we started with a morning check-out at 6:00 AM ⏰ and we finished with a late check-in around 10:00 PM!🌙

Actually, this is how we spend most public holidays and, honestly, it has never been a burden to us.
