Trevi Fountain: Now Paid Access

Since February 2026, tourists visiting Rome’s Trevi Fountain must pay €2 to get close to the fountain and toss coins. Residents, children, and people with disabilities are exempt. The main square remains free, and tickets can be bought on-site or online. The fee helps reduce crowds and fund preservation.
