This spacious, newly refurbished apartment (120 square meters) is located on the fourth floor of an elevator building and can comfortably accommodate up to six guests. It has a sunny living/dining room, one bedroom with double bed and the other two with two single beds each. All of them can be locked. Linens, blankets, and bath towels provided.
The fully equipped, eat-in kitchen is brand new, and has a full-size refrigerator, gas stove top, electric oven, dis-washer, and washing machine. The apartment has a full size television and WiFi in all the rooms. The heat can be self- regulated. Cleaning services can be arranged.
Located in the Heart of Rome on a quiet street in Prati, a safe and upscale neighbourhood only four blocks from the Vatican and its museums and just around the corner from a lively area with department stores, restaurants, cinemas, international food shops, a supermarket and pharmacies.
The main streets of the district are Via Cola di Rienzo, Via Crescenzio and Piazza Risorgimento, popular with both Romans and tourists for shopping, and restaurants serving typical Roman cuisine – from an inexpensive slice of pizza at the Pizzeria al Taglio to a hearty meal at the charming Borgo. Antico or the lovely upscale La Veranda.
You can walk along the river Tiber and explore the charming and buzzing neighbourhood of Transtevre and on the other side of the river, the main tourist attractions are just steps away: Piazza Navona, Campo de' Fiori, the Spanish Steps, the Pantheon and the Trevi Fountain. Walk back home down Via del Corso through the imposing Piazza del Popolo, with its magnificent churches.
And if walking is not your thing, the Ottaviano-San Pietro metro station is just a 5-minute walk and takes you to the center of Rome. The area is also well served by many bus lines.
GETTING THERE
From Termini Station: Take the Metro Line A (red line) direction Battistini and get off at 'Ottaviano- San Pietro' stop. The apartment is just 4-5 minutes away.
From Fiumicino-Leonardo da Vinci Airport: Take the train ‘Leonardo Express’ to
Termini Station (about 25 minutes, € 15 per person). From there, Metro line A, as above.
From Ciampino Airport: Take Bus number 2 (ticket price € 1.50) to the "Anagnina" bus terminal (about a 15-minute ride) and take Metro Line A from there, as above.
CHECK-IN
Check-in is between 2 pm and 9 pm, but other times can be arranged.
