Portico D'Ottavia - Rome Jeweish Ghetto. That white sign on the right still reminds us that Portico D'Ottavia is the ancient fish market. The sign says in Latin that all the heads of fishes longer than that marble panel had to be kept for main roman politicians! The head of the fish was considered the most delicious and it was excellent for soups!
