We are a Swiss/Italian family of 4 renting a small appartment for short-term travellers in the heart of Rome. The flat is situated on the ground floor of a 16th century palazzo. It is 40m2, an authentic little nest in the centre of Rome in which all its ancient charm still resides although it has been renovated. It is ideal for 2 adults as it comprises of a romantic bedroom, a fully equipped kitch
en, a small living room with the entrance, a shower and toilets. The apartment benefits from a very good autonomous heating system for the winter, but it does not require climatisation in the summer as it remains naturally cool due to the thick, ancient walls. The only down side is that it does not have the brightest natural lighting in the living room and the kitchen (the ground floor). This is however counterbalanced by our good electric lighting. Around the corner is Piazza di Sant'Eustacchio, where you will be able to taste the best coffee in Rome. The neighbourhood is full of local restaurants, authentic roman ice cream shops, bars and boutiques! A few minutes away from the apartment is 'Campo de Fiori': by day it is a beautiful and colourful market, by night the piazza turns into a highly frequented spot for night-life and entertainmentThe flat is exactly halfway between the Pantheon and Piazza Navona. A 5-10 minute walk to Piazza Venezia, Via del Corso, Castel Sant' Angelo, and the Trevi Fountain! More information and photos on Airbnb
