1. 🏃 Acea Run Rome The Marathon – Sunday, March 22
The world's most spectacular marathon: 42.195 km through Rome's iconic monuments. Starting from the Imperial Forums with the Colosseum behind you, passing through Piazza Venezia, Circus Maximus, Castel Sant'Angelo, Via della Conciliazione with St. Peter's Basilica, finishing at Circus Maximus. Also includes the Run4Rome Relay and Water Fun Run (5K) on Saturday, March 21 for the whole family .
2. 🎨 "Hokusai" Exhibition at Palazzo Bonaparte (from March 24)
The largest Italian retrospective dedicated to the Japanese master: over 100 works including the famous "Great Wave off Kanagawa." A journey through ukiyo-e art that conquered the West .
3. 🖼️ "Caravaggio and the Masters of Light" Exhibition (from March 7)
Caravaggio's "The Incredulity of Saint Thomas" arrives from Potsdam alongside masterpieces by Gentileschi and Ribera. A rare opportunity to see Caravaggio in Rome .
4. 🎭 "From Vienna to Rome: Treasures of the Habsburgs" at Palazzo Cipolla (from March 6)
Over 50 masterpieces from the Kunsthistorisches Museum: Rubens, Velázquez, Titian, and Veronese. Imperial collecting on display .
5. 🆓 Free Museum Sunday – March 1
First Sunday of the month: free entry to all state museums (Colosseum, Imperial Forums, Capitoline Museums) and city museums in Rome .
