He graduated in Architecture at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” with a thesis focused on the requalification of commercial areas. In 1992 he moved in Brianza and started working at one of the largest Hotel-Contract companies in Italy. This fundamental experience allowed him to understand how to design a hotel in all its complexity and how to develop it from the spaces distribution up to th
e detailed interior design. In 1999, he returned to Rome and opened his own Studio, specialized in the design of luxury hotels. During the last 15 years, the Studio Ceccaroli designed and realized over 60 hotels boasting 4 and 5 stars, collaborating with many hotel chains and private customers. The Studio’s philosophy grow out from Marcello Ceccaroli’s personal and eclectic style, developed through his specialization in the hotel sector. During last years, his experience allowed the realization of notable accommodation facilities that range from classical to modern style, expressing the continuous research of innovative, low-cost and functional materials.
