Looking back, to look forward.

There is something quietly magical about an old photograph. It stops a moment and gives it eternity. It holds a story and carries it forward, far beyond the people who lived it.

For sixty years, the Tyrol has been a place in Val Gardena where stories arrive and stay. Faces, seasons, small gestures, all held in time beneath the same Dolomites that have always watched over us.

These images are not only memories. Like every story worth telling, they remind us who we have been, to show us where we are going.

This Friday.

Sixty years of Tyrol. And when we think about what that really means, we do not think about walls or rooms. We think about people.

The family who started it all in 1966 in the heart of Val Gardena, and the three generations who have carried that vision forward, never letting the warmth of a true welcome fade. And the team, the people who arrive before the guests and leave after them, who know that hospitality is made of a thousand small gestures nobody sees but everybody feels.

Sixty years exist because of them. Because of hands that prepared countless tables, voices that welcomed countless arrivals, faces that have become, over time, part of what the Tyrol means beneath these Dolomites.

This Friday, June 19, the celebrations begin. Three days of dinners, people and music to honour this story.

But before we celebrate, a thank you. To everyone who, over sixty years, has made this Home what it is.

In bloom.

There is a moment in early summer when Val Gardena becomes something almost impossible to describe. The meadows fill with colour, the window boxes overflow, and even the quietest corners of Selva seem to be celebrating something.

At the Tyrol, the flowers have always been part of the story. Bibiana tends to them the way she tends to everything here: with patience, with care, with the quiet belief that beauty is never an accident.

The Dolomites are the backdrop, as always. But right now, it is the small things that ask to be noticed.
Summer is finding its way in, one flower at a time.

The doors are open.

Today, the Tyrol comes back to life in the heart of Val Gardena. Familiar voices return, the scent of wood and mountain air fills the spaces, and the Dolomites become the backdrop to a new season ready to be told.

A summer that will be especially meaningful for us. In the coming weeks, we will celebrate sixty years of Tyrol: sixty years of memories, people, stories of hospitality and moments shared together as a Family.

One day to go.

Summer is ready to bloom in Val Gardena. The woods are glowing in every shade of green, the Dolomites stand majestic under the June light, and the doors of the Tyrol are about to open to a new season.

Emanuele, together with all of us, waits at the threshold of a season that already feels alive: filled with long days outdoors, familiar faces, new memories and celebrations still waiting to be discovered together.

Just one more day, and it all begins.

The preparations continue in Val Gardena. Tables set under the open sky, final touches on the terrace, the quiet rhythm of a team getting ready to welcome summer once again.

Very soon, long TyBistro lunches will return beneath the Dolomites, made of mountain light, fresh air and slow afternoons outdoors.
