Abruzzo is Italy’s hidden gem. It’s where the high Apennine Mountains, run right along the Adriatic coast. Daily rides include famous Abruzzo landmarks such as the Gran Sasso National Park, Campo Imperatore, with flatter recovery rides down Abruzzo’s Trabocchi Coast. These are not “fly in” trips for us. Abruzzo is our home region where we started running tours in 2009. We have several different “home base” accommodations to suit any size private group. Daily rides in the mornings, custom-planned activities in the afternoons, and some relaxing time by the pool or at the beach. One way to be fully immersed in a culture is to take part in the local festivals. Our village food festival, Dit’Unto, is held October 11th, turning our small village into a huge party of food, wine and live music. Our October 5-12 cycling and/or non-cycling guests get to experience this amazing day.

Siena….the right way. Off the bike and ready for a nice lunch and a tour with our historical guide. Don’t let anybody tell you that riding into the Piazza del Campo for a selfie, then leaving, is the best way to experience this amazing city. Our tour guests are showered up, and dressed appropriately for a great lunch, then a guided tour of the Duomo, and one of the Contrada museums.
