If you’re in San Gimignano and want to experience this special moment, our recommendation is:

📍 Sensano – Poggio del Comune
One of the best spots for an open view towards the West/North-West, where you can enjoy the eclipse over the beautiful Tuscan hills.

🕢 Arrive around 7:30 PM
🌑 Maximum eclipse: around 8:20 PM
🌅 Sunset: around 8:23 PM

👉 Look for the highest, most open spot possible, with no trees or buildings blocking the horizon, and face West/North-West.

⚠️ Very important: only look at the Sun through ISO 12312-2 certified eclipse glasses. Never look directly at the Sun, even when it is close to the horizon. YOU’LL FIND GLASSES IN YOUR ROOM😉
