Some guestbook entries are so kind that they leave us slightly speechless.
A few hours ago, we waved goodbye and said a presto to the loveliest couple from Berlin. Before leaving, they took the time to write this in our guestbook:
“Where to begin…
The house, the entire property, and of course the view of the lake… simply magical! The energy here is truly special.
We fell in love with this place, the surrounding area, and Lago di Bolsena.
Michael and Mikkel are incredibly warm and caring hosts. They pay a lot of attention to detail (I mean the interior design – 100%!) and are very helpful and welcoming.
We are really sad to leave after 6 wonderful, grounding days and will definitely come back soon!!
Thank you for everything. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home and creating this place!”
Maria & Johannes, Berlin
Moments like these remind us why we opened our home to guests in the first place.
Of course, we love when people enjoy the house, the garden, the terraces and the view over Lago di Bolsena. But what touches us even more is when someone feels sufficiently at home to sit down, open the guestbook and leave behind a small piece of their holiday.
In an age of online reviews and algorithms, those handwritten pages are slowly becoming one of our most treasured possessions.
Thank you, Maria and Johannes, for your kindness, for noticing all the little details, and for becoming part of the story of Villa Due Pini Bolsena.
A presto. 🇮🇹🌿
