Das Hotel Mühlgarten wurde einst im Jahre 1979 als Einkehrgasthof erbaut. Vorher stand an diesem Platz ein alteingesessener Bauernhof, in welchem ein naturheilkundiger Mann lebte. Er linderte und heilte so manche Krankheiten und Wehleiden mit Salben und Medizinen, die er selbst mit Heilkräutern erzeugte, welche auch heute noch hier in der Umgebung wachsen. Der Name des Hotels wurde vom alten Bauer
nhof, welcher am kleinen Bach mit den Mühlen stand, übernommen. Wegen seiner einmaligen, herrlich ruhigen Lage wie in einem großherrschaftlichen Garten wurde er Mühlgarten genannt. Im Laufe der Jahre wurde dieser Einkehrgasthof kontinuierlich umgebaut und zum heutigen Hotel erweitert. Seinen Charakter und sein Flair hat das Haus jedoch bis heute beibehalten. Der Beweis, dass Neu und Modern sich mit Alt und Tradition bei Zugeständnis zur Authentizität treffen und harmonisieren können, sowie der Respekt für die Natur und die Liebe zum Gast, werden hier offenkundig.

L'Hotel Mühlgarten nasce nell'anno 1979 come albergo tradizionale. Significativa per la sua originalità è la storia del luogo su cui sorge. Al posto dell'albergo esisteva in precedenza un antico maso, nel quale viveva un vecchio erborista, conoscuito per i suoi rimedi a base di piante ed erbe medicinali, le quali ancora oggi sono facilmente rintracciabili nei dintorni. Il nome dell'albergo è stato ereditato propio da questo maso, il quale da sempre era conosciuto come Mühlgarten, il "Giardino dei mulini", a sottolineare la sua posizione bellissima e incantata vicino ad un ruscello con dei mulini sulla riva. Nel corso degli anni l'albergo è stato ampliato e ristruturato fino a diventare l'hotel di oggi, mantenendo però sempre il fascino e il carattere di allora. Questo a dimostrazione che nuovo e moderno possono convivere in armonia con antico e tradizione, nel rispetto dell'autenticità e della natura.

The Hotel Mühlgarten was founded in 1979 as a traditional inn. The years before, there was an old farm at this place where a kind of a dotor lived, who was know as a healer using all kinds of herbages. His flowers and herbs still grow all around the hotel up to the present day. The name of the hotel was taken of the farm which had a small river floating nearby and some mills too. Mühlgarten could be translated as garden of the mills. Due to his unique, peaceful location, the farm was named Mühlgarten. As time went by, the inn was enlarged several times and so it got bigger and bigger and it has become a hotel. Its characteristics and its air it has kept all over the time. The proof that new and modern do get along with old and traditional - as long as authenticity has the biggest say - has been brought along right with the presence of the Mühlgarten.
