The secret of 𝗛𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗮 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗮 is the quintessential woman flair. The hotel is run mostly by women, who share love for Sicily and for the Family.

We are a 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹 located in Sant'Alessio Siculo, just a few minutes from Taormina. The spaces of our hotel are elegant, bright and cozy, which will bring a smile to your face and rest your soul, much like our staff which will be happy to pamper you during your stay and go to extra mile to ensure you have a memorable stay. Moreover, you have access to our 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 for a dip in a crystal clear sea or just relax at our beach bar, where our bartenders will fix your favourite cocktail.

☀️ Around this time of year, the rhythm slowly begins to change.

We hold on to the last warm days, with some work still to do and a few more afternoons by the sea.

It’s always a little hard to let summer go.

This is what I mean when I say every bend in the road reveals something different.

Sea blue, volcanic black, warm stone, bright flowers, faded walls, green river water.
And these are only photos. Imagine seeing all these colours in real life.

Which is your favourite palette?

🔑 People often think my job is mostly about sitting at reception, welcoming guests and handing out keys.
Well, that’s part of it.

But when you run a small hotel, you also organise photo shoots, take care of paperwork, taste w**e, help your guests enjoy their holidays … and sometimes even paint the walls.

How many different jobs can you spot in this reel? 😁

Between Messina and Taormina, the railway follows the Ionian coast, running between the sea, small coastal towns and tunnels carved into the rock.

The stretch from Sant’Alessio Siculo to Taormina is about 10 kilometres long, and it offers some wonderful views: the Cape of Sant’Alessio, Letojanni, the coastline around Isola Bella and, finally, the beautiful Taormina-Giardini station by the sea.

My tip? Travelling south, choose a seat on the left and stay by the window. 😉

A Sicilian party in the garden? That sounded like a wish worth making come true.

We invited a local folk group, brought out the limoncello and soon everyone was singing and dancing together.

Almost every wish can come true at Donna Rosa… and sometimes showing you my Sicily is a lot of fun for me too.

I know I'm not a tourist office.
But one of the things I enjoy most is helping my guests discover Sicily. Not just its beaches, but also its villages, landscapes and food.
Leave a little room for the unexpected.❤️
