Für Langlauffreunde befindet sich im 15 Minuten entfernten Pens eine 21 km lange Langlaufloipe. Das Sarntal ist über das Penser Joch erreichbar und liegt daher an einer sehr beliebten Nord-Süd Strecke für Motorradfahrer. Aufgrund der zentralen Lage in Südtirol stellt das Sarntal eine ideale Basis für Motorradfahrer dar, die Touren über die beliebten Dolomitenpässe im Osten des Landes und über die hochalpinen Pässe wie Timmelsjoch, Mendelpass oder Stilfserjoch, im Westen des Landes planen. A soli venti minuti di macchina dal bellissimo capoluogo altoatesino Bolzano, si trova nel paesaggio unico della Val Sarentino la frazione Ponticino. struttura la accoglie tutto l’anno per un periodo di ferie in una valle tradizionale alpina. Le stupendi alpi Sarentinesi invitano in estate a delle lunghe escursioni o giri con la Mountnbike lontano da sovraffollati sentieri. Per coloro che preferiscono qualcosa di più tranquillo c’è la possibilitá di lunghe passeggiate nei prati o intorno al vicino lago di Valdurna. Il centro sciistico per famiglie Reinswald /SanMartino attrae in inverno a sciate e slittate, nonché a fare sci alpinismo o camminate con le ciaspole sulle montagne incontaminate. Gli amanti dello sci di fondo troveranno a Pennes, a 15 minuti di macchina, una pista di fondo di ben 21 km. La Val Sarentino è raggiungibile dal passo Pennes e si trova quindi su un tragitto nord –sud molto gradito a motociclisti. La Val Sarentino, a seguito della sua posizione centrale in Alto Adige, rappresenta un ottima base come luogo di partenza per i motociclisti, che potranno programmare giri ad Est sui passi dolomitici oppure sui passi alpini ad ovest come Rombo, Mendola o Stelvio. The Sarntal/Val Sarentino is known among insiders as a wonderful ski touring destination, because of its untouched mountains. The valley lies along an important north-south biker route, which contains the Penser Joch/Passo Pennes at the northern end of the valley and is very popular. Due to its centre location the Sarntal valley is the ideal base for bikers, who plan biking tours in the Dolomites located in the East of South Tyrol and tours containing the western passes like the well known Timmelsjoch, Mendelpass/Passo della Mendola or Stilfserjoch/Passo Stelvio.
