È arrivata. La notte più attesa e magica di sempre.
La notte di San Lorenzo, delle stelle cadenti.
Ma quanto è romantico alzare gli occhi al cielo e attendere quello sciame luminoso a cui affidare i nostri desideri?
In spiaggia o dalla terrazza della vostra camera, questo meraviglioso spettacolo della natura è tutto da godere.
Forse non tutto sanno che… in realtà non sono stelle ma meteore della cometa Swift-Tuttle. Ogni anno tra il 9 e il 12 agosto passa molto vicino al Sole, rilasciando quei frammenti che gli astronomi chiamano Perseidi, dalla costellazione di Perseo, dalla quale sembra provengano.

How romantic it is to raise our eyes to the sky and wait for that swarm of light to which we entrust our wishes.
On the beach or from the terrace of your room, this marvellous spectacle of nature is there to be fully enjoyed.
Perhaps not everyone knows that... they are actually not stars but meteors from the Swift-Tuttle comet. Every year between 9 and 12 August it passes very close to the Sun, releasing those fragments that astronomers call Perseids, after the Perseus constellation, from which they seem to come.

Non è un fotomontaggio. L’abbiamo incontrato davvero; perché fino a metà settembre, i boschi di Selva di Cadore ospitano la MOSTRA “Dinosauri in carne e ossa – Val Fiorentina Dolomiti – Le origini”. Ci sono anche un Triceratopo, un Tirannosauro che magari incrociamo nel pomeriggio.
