Our Todos Siena Retreat has just come to an end!

We spent an incredible, intensive week exploring contemporary mosaic techniques at beautiful . Plenty of hands-on practice, with breaks for olive oil, w**e tasting at , sparkling w**e tasting at , b**r tasting at and gelato tastings , and a wonderful cooking class !

A volte basta un profumo, un sapore, una particolare sfumatura di luce per ritrovarsi, anche dopo molto tempo, nel luogo in cui si è stati felici.
Il rosso di un tramonto, il profumo del pane e dei salumi su un tagliere, il sapore di un buon vino toscano: piccoli istanti che restano con noi e che, quando meno ce lo aspettiamo, sanno riportarci qui.
Grazie, Polmar, per le tue parole. Sapere che Borgo Grondaie è diventato parte dei tuoi ricordi più belli è il regalo più prezioso che potessimo ricevere. 🤍

Sometimes, all it takes is a scent, a flavour or a certain shade of light to bring us back - even years later - to a place where we once felt happy.
The colours of a sunset, the aroma of bread and local specialities served on a traditional Tuscan tagliere, the taste of a good Tuscan w**e: special moments that stay with us forever and when we least expect it, they have the wonderful power to take us back.

Sustainability is in our nature. At the Borgo, it shows up in small, everyday choices.🫶🏼
Breakfast is a good example: each day, you choose what you'd like to eat in advance, so we only prepare what you'll actually enjoy: quality and taste, without the waste.

And we're not the only guests here: our green spaces are also home to wildlife that roams freely across the property, part of a natural balance we care for.

You won't need a car to get around: Siena's center is an easy walk away, or you can grab one of our free bikes or you can rent an e-bike and ride the white roads of Chianti or along the Via Francigena.
Small choices, every day, for a slower and more honest way of living. 🌿

Per muoversi non serve l'auto: il centro di Siena si raggiunge a piedi, con calma, oppure puoi prendere una delle nostre biciclette gratuite oppure puoi noleggiare un'e-bike e pedalare sulle strade bianche del Chianti o lungo la Via Francigena.
