C’è chi misura il tempo in ore e chi lo misura in vasetti di marmellata. 🌿
In questi giorni a Boschi di Montecalvi la giornata inizia presto, tra i rami degli alberi di fichi. Li raccogliamo a mano, uno per uno, quando sono maturi al punto giusto. Poi ci mettiamo in cucina e lasciamo che la marmellata cuocia piano piano.
Niente conservanti, niente fretta. Solo frutta, zucchero e la pazienza che ci si mette quando fai le cose per le persone a cui vuoi bene.
È la marmellata che troverete ad aspettarvi a colazione, spalmata sul pane fresco, mentre attorno c’è solo il silenzio del bosco e la vista sulla Val di Cornia.
La Toscana vera è tutta qui: semplice, schietta e fatta a mano.

These days at Boschi di Montecalvi, the morning starts early among the fig trees. We pick them by hand, one by one, right when they’re perfectly ripe. Then we head to the kitchen and let the jam simmer slowly.
No preservatives, no rush. Just fruit, sugar, and the kind of care you only put into things made for people you love.
