Welcome to Casa Bloom. 🌸
We’re on the east coast of Sicily, in Castelluccio—a seaside vacation neighborhood that only locals really know about. Surrounded by three beautiful bays and dotted with secret beach gems. But first, let me show you the nearby town of Brucoli, our little slice of paradise by the sea. 🌞
This is our go-to spot in the summer 💕—small, cozy, and so laid-back it makes you want to slow down and just enjoy.
Founded by the Greeks ages ago, you can still feel the history everywhere—the streets, the sea, even the food. Take a deep breath and wander with us:
1. Our go-to beach 🩵
2. Picture-perfect corners everywhere—Brucoli looks like a postcard at every turn.
3. Giovanni and Francesca 🦆 The famous ducks that belong to a local fisherman. They roam freely through town and everyone knows them.
4. Chiesa di San Nicola di Bari ⛪ Built in the 19th century—locals gather here every Sunday for mass.
5.A hidden wild beach you can reach with our stand-up paddle board. The water is unbelievably clear 🥹
6–7. Our local fish shop where we buy fresh seafood. In August, Brucoli celebrates the swordfish festival. We bring fresh swordfish home and grill it with lemons and parsley from the garden. Book with us in August for this special treat.
8–9. Bar Baretto ☕ Our go-to café. Their granita is to die for, and the mozzarella with ragù (yes… for breakfast!) is something you’ll dream about long after you leave. They warm it up for you and it truly fills your soul.
The slow mornings, salty air, and simple Sicilian joys... Life here moved at its own gentle rhythm 💕
