A toast to Taormina

Mazzarò Sea Palace hosts the closing chapter of Taormina Cocktail Week.
From 17–20 September, Taormina becomes a stage for contemporary mixology, where every cocktail tells a story. This year’s theme, Stories from a Book, brings together the creativity of leading bartenders, the character of Sicilian ingredients and the art of the aperitivo.

The final chapter unfolds on 20 September at Mazzarò Sea Palace, where the Velvet terrace will host the Closing & Awards, with a special Campari drink list and guest bartender Nicholas Sciarrabba joining the Mazzarò team behind the bar.

The new cocktail menu at Atlantis Bay takes guests on a journey from the depths of the Mediterranean to the mythical heights of Olympus. Its story emerged during Cyclone Harry, transforming a moment of darkness into an imaginative celebration of Sicily.

Throughout the menu, the island is expressed through flavour: the minerality of volcanic terrain, the salinity of the coastline and ingredients sourced from small local producers. International influences are woven into each recipe, allowing classic cocktails to be experienced in surprising new and unexpected ways.

At Flame in Atlantis Bay, Taormina, Executive Chef Tino Privitera joins Michelin-starred Chef Peppe Guida for an exclusive four-hands dinner overlooking the bay. Later, at Contempo in Donna Camilla Savelli, Rome, Executive Chef Emidio Gennaro Ferro and Peppe Guida reunite around a shared table to create another one-night-only menu inspired by dialogue, creativity and the richness of Italian cuisine.
