What if one place could change everything?

A few years ago, the idea of leaving the Netherlands and building a new life in Puglia felt impossible.

Today, it is becoming a plan.

Every trip, every viewing and every conversation brings us one step closer to the dream we're building: Oasi di Puglia.

This beautiful trullo became part of that journey.

Not because we're searching for a house.

A Small Piece of Puglia

Some souvenirs are bought. Others are made.

During one of our visits to Grottaglie, Liv created her own ceramic plate at the workshop of local artisan Antonio Fasano.

Grottaglie is known throughout Puglia for its beautiful ceramic tradition, and it was wonderful to experience a small part of it ourselves.

Moments like these are one of the reasons we keep coming back to Puglia. Not only for the landscapes, but also for the people, craftsmanship and culture.

Where it all started.

One week ago, we shared our big dream. This is the exact place we fell in love with, tucked away in the peaceful Valle d’Itria, right between Ostuni and Martina Franca.

The property consists of a trullo with three cones, a second structure with four cones, a traditional lamia, a rare Trullo Sovrano and an underground ipogeo.

Until our move in December, we’ll be dreaming, planning and preparing from the Netherlands.

Which space would you explore first: the Trullo Sovrano or the underground ipogeo?
