🇮🇹✨ Introduction: What is a Trabocco?

A trabocco is more than just a place to eat — it’s a piece of living history anchored above the Adriatic Sea. These wooden fishing structures, unique to the Abruzzo coastline, were originally built by fishermen who wanted to harvest the sea without sailing into it.

🐟🌊 The Setting: A Meal Suspended Over the Sea

Imagine dining on a wooden platform suspended over turquoise waters, with waves gently lapping below and the scent of salt in the air. I 2009 fant vi drømmen vår i Italia. Det har vært en eventyr å gjenskape storhetstiden eiendommen. I dag er Castello di MAMA en naturperle ved Adriaterhavet omkranset av olivenlund og med 180 graders utsikt mot havet. Er steinkast unna er digge strender.

Her har vi levd la vita bella med venner og familie. Vi har solt oss, badet og nytt deilige middager med utsikt mot havet.

Nå er vi klare for nye eventyr og selger vårt kjære Castello di MAMA hvor minner er bygget opp med familie og venner.

Easter 2023:
🎈Tried some New restaurants and New wineyards.
🎈Visited our favourite restaurant.
🎈Kept some easter traditions with good friends.

Autumn at Castello. Raining at night and sunny/cloudy at day. So Lovely to go to Abruzzo off Season. Quiet, calm and With 25 degrees quite summery at time (seen with Norwegian eyes). Porticini, oliven, wine and truffle Season!

Tilbake på Castello di MAMA og deilige sommerdager. Gjestene har sjekket inn en etter en og nå er vi 11 stykker ut uken. La vita bella! Fiskelunsj på La conchiglia, biff og baff kveld på Castello, latter og røvehistorier. Kan man bedre ha det❤️
