We hosted a wedding! More on that later. For now, let's hear from the parents of one of the brides.
We want to thank the entire Amazing Abruzzo Team for an incredible week.
You made Kendra & Emma's wedding celebration absolutely unforgettable.
The experience exceeded anything we could have imagined.
Lisa & Jake, you're not simply running an Airbnb, a boutique hotel, or a wedding venue.
You are custodians.
Custodians of history.
Custodians of culture.
Custodians of tradition.
We learned that the estate was more than 160 years old, and that estates like it were once the heart of family life for the aristocratic families that owned them.
These homes were built for gathering people together - for celebrations, baptisms, holidays, birthdays, and weddings.
And so, we want to thank you for allowing our family to continue that tradition at the Baron's Estate.
To celebrate love, in a place with so much history and character, is something we will never forget.
We also have to thank the incredible culinary staff.
The food was absolutely unbelievable.
There is an old saying:
"Most of the world eats to live...but Italians live to eat."
And after spending time in Abruzzo, we can tell you that saying is absolutely true.
Every meal was an experience in itself.
We also want to thank the tour guides and everyone who helped show us the real Italy.
People say that visiting Abruzzo is like seeing Italy before tourism - and now we understand exactly what they mean.
We got to see beautiful mountain towns like Scanno, enjoyed picnics by the lake, visited the Adriatic coast, saw the old fishing Trabocchi stretching out over the water, and experienced the mountains, the villages, the people, and the culture that make the region so special.
You welcomed us not just as guests, but as family.
Thank you for allowing us to become part of the continuing story of your remarkable estate and its 160 years of history.
To the entire Amazing Abruzzo team - thank you for making it such an unforgettable celebration.
And thank you for allowing our family to continuethe tradition of celebrating love at the Baron's Estate.
