Behind the innocent air of these soft pink cakes, there is a soul of ricotta and Alchermes (a liqueur). 😇😆

This traditional Trapani dessert is called "Pesca" (Peach🍑) for obvious reasons but.....it's not for children!🛑

If you are looking for a place to visit that combines history, art and culture, you should definitely check out the Collegio dei Gesuiti in Mazara del Vallo 🙌

This impressive building was built in 1672 by the Jesuits as a center of studies and a university. It has a beautiful baroque facade with a majestic portal and you can admire various artworks by local artists, such as sculptures, paintings and installations. Y

ou can also see some archaeological finds from the sea and the land, such as amphorae, jewels and coins.

The Collegio dei Gesuiti is a treasure trove of beauty and knowledge that will amaze you 😍

Amazing breakfast this morning! I had some Trapanesi almond cookies 🍪

These are soft and chewy cookies made with almond paste, egg whites, sugar and lemon zest.

They are coated with sliced almonds for a crunchy touch and baked until golden brown. They are so fragrant and delicious 😋🙌

I had the most amazing pizza for dinner tonight in Trapani 🍕

It was a pizza with speck and pistachio, a combination that I never tried before but it was so delicious 😋

The speck was smoky and salty, and the pistachio added a crunchy and nutty touch.

The cheese was gooey and melted, and the crust was thin and crispy.

I loved every bite of it 🤤

I took a walk along Via Vittorio Emanuele, the main street of the historic center of Trapani.
