When we restored the old hayloft, we imagined it as a place where people could relax, work, dance, and walk barefoot on the wooden floor.

The floor is made of beech wood — warm, smooth, and solid under the feet.

Seeing it now filled with the bodies and movements of the dance retreat participants with and .souldance feels like a quiet confirmation.

Fiori — Flowers

🇮🇹 Sulla nostra tavola i fiori non sono solo decorazione. Quelli che vedete nella foto sono gigli arancioni, fiori commestibili dal sapore delicato e leggermente dolce. Crescono nel nostro giardino e li aggiungiamo spesso alle insalate per il colore e la freschezza che portano. È importante però non confonderli con le specie ornamentali di giglio, che possono essere tossiche: i nostri provengono da varietà commestibili, coltivate e raccolte con attenzione.

🇬🇧 On our table, flowers are not just decoration. The ones you see in the photo are orange lilies, edible flowers with a delicate, slightly sweet flavor. They grow in our garden, and we often add them to salads for the color and freshness they bring. It’s important, however, not to confuse them with ornamental lily species, which can be toxic: ours come from edible varieties, carefully grown and picked.
