Then you get an invitation, from one of your guests, now a friend who has been coming to al_ficodindia for years. A not at all obvious invitation, he asks me if I would like to participate in a crochet class.
And so, in a mix of words in English, Italian and Salento dialect, a special afternoon takes shape. It's not so much crochet that matters, but the pleasure of being together of sharing smiles, and traditions that cross languages and borders.
Because sometimes it's the simplest things that give us the most beautiful encounters.
Thank you Barbara Ge**er for your kind friendship🩷.
Thanks to Marzia De Marco for stopping the frenetic pace of our lives.

My new bedroom

The terrace is not just a place: it is a gentle distance from the noise of the world, where thoughts find space before the silence of heaven....
