We had one very rainy day on the Ritten this week. Solution: bake a cake! 🌧️🍰
Turning a gray day into cozy baking fun in our farm kitchen: Stacking butter towers and making something delicious out of “sugar paste”. Imagine the scent in the house… 😋

These 5 days were a real rollercoaster for us. When a calf is born this weak, you drop everything and just do whatever it takes to help him pull through. There were a few moments we weren't sure if he'd make it.
Seeing him finally strong enough to drink from his mom is the best reward we could possibly ask for.
This is the unfiltered side of the Obersteinerhof.
Now we can finally say: Welcome to the world, little Bendt! ❤️

In spring, when I step out of the house I am greeted by this most beautful lilac scent. This year, I finally found a way to preserve it. Bottling flowers, from the garden straight into the glass.

Handcrafted wood and natural warmth. The modern, wooden interiors of our holiday flats make them such a cosy space to be. I love how the light fills the rooms in the mornings. ☀️ Take a deep breath and you can smell the scent of the forest.
