Pasqua in latino è pascha
e in greco è pàskha,
viene dall'ebraico pesah
e non importa in quale lingua lo si legga
pasqua significa sempre
“passaggio”
e passaggio è passare
e passare vuol dire due cose,
vuol dire andare, passeggiare, muoversi,
ma anche porgere, anche dare, donare
e io vi auguro questa Pasqua,
vi auguro di passare,
di passare sopra i giudizi
di passare sopra i vostri limiti
di passare oltre, sempre oltre
sopra le barriere che avete dentro voi
e sopra quelle che gli altri vi mettono nel percorso
e poi vi auguro anche di passare,
di passare agli altri la vostra gioia
di passare la vostra gentilezza
di passare il sale della vita al tavolo che vive scondito
di passare a tutti i doni che avete ricevuto
vi auguro la consapevolezza di sapere
che siete qui solo di passaggio
e vi auguro la gratitudine di sapere
che la vita
non passerà mai.

Easter in Latin is pascha

it comes from the Hebrew pesah
and no matter what language you read it in,
Easter always means
"passage"
and passage is passing
and passing means two things:
it means to go, to walk, to move,
but also to offer, to give, to donate
and I wish you this Easter,
I wish you to pass,
to pass over judgments
to pass over your limits
to pass beyond, always beyond
over the barriers you have within yourself
and over those that others place in your path.
And then I also wish you to pass,
to pass your joy to others
to pass your kindness
to pass the salt of life to the table that lives unseasoned
to pass on all the gifts you have received
I wish you the awareness of knowing
that you are only here passing through
and I wish you the gratitude of knowing
that life
will never pass away.
