Locanda Silva is a small cosy hotel where a friendly, familiar atmosphere makes its guests feel at home and allows them to experience Venice as if they were residents. The hotel is located in the very heart of the town, very close to the historical centre, Piazza San Marco, and in the meantime not far from Rialto, the vital part of Venice, where the commercial life takes place and markets and shops can be found.

Today one of the most amazing Venetian traditions takes place: the Venice Historical Regatta. It includes a historical-sporting parade followed by Venetian rowing races. It is one of the most spectacular and picturesque events in the city, all along the Grand Canal, from St. Mark's Basin to Ca' Foscari. It's just amazing 😍
