During Carnival time in Venice, sweetness bears ancient names.

Frittelle, here called fritole, are the symbol of the celebration: golden, fluffy, born right in these narrow streets.
Chiacchiere, which Venetians call galani, thin and crisp, tell the story of the simplest and most elegant tradition.
And then there are castagnole, also known as favette: small, soft, irresistible.

Flavors that return every year,
gestures that repeat themselves,
traditions that are passed down.
