From truck to bale, every step can be registered, connected and accessed.

With the SIMEX WASTE FLOW terminals developed by Roder, Macpresse promotes a digital approach to waste paper flow management: the incoming load is weighed, linked to the transport document, entered into the system and assigned to the sorting station and the baler.

After baling, the material is classified and identified with an RFID tag. From that point, information about material origin, processing and destination can be accessed from the terminal and remotely.
The result is a clearer workflow, with operational and production data available across the different stages of the process.

Con i terminali SIMEX WASTE FLOW sviluppati da Roder, Macpresse promuove una gestione digitale del flusso di macero: il carico viene pesato, associato al FIR, inserito a sistema e assegnato alla cabina di selezione e alla pressa.
Dopo la pressatura, la balla viene classificata e identificata con un tag RFID. Da quel momento, le informazioni relative a provenienza, lavorazione e destinazione possono essere consultate da terminale e da remoto.

MAC 111AS/1 operating in Canada, Cascades

Mixed paper, cardboard and magazine bales are not always easy to feed into a recycling line, especially when the material arrives already compacted or irregularly packed.

At Cascades in Canada, the MAC 111AS/1 works with a fluffer system that helps loosen compacted paper before baling, supporting a more continuous feed into the press.
This machine is part of a long-standing collaboration between Cascades and Macpresse, with more than 14 Macpresse presses installed and several machines still operating after more than 20 years.
The MAC 111AS/1 is designed with a 2,100 x 1,020 mm feed opening, 170 ton cutting and thrust power, and 1,100 x 1,100 mm bale dimensions.

It reaches up to 45 ton/h on mixed paper and 28 ton/h on cardboard, depending on moisture content, pre-bale density, feed rate and other operating variables.

Are RDF and SRF the same thing?
Not exactly.

The two terms are often used as if they meant the same thing, but there is an important difference. RDF is a broader definition, while SRF refers to a more clearly classified fuel, based on specific parameters such as calorific value, chlorine and mercury.
For waste operators, cement plants and industrial users it affects material quality, expected performance and the consistency of the fuel used in the plant.

Rice husk is a loose biomass material that can become difficult to store, move and ship efficiently when handled in bulk.

In this application, MAC 110/1 compacts rice husk into high-density bales, improving handling for storage and transport by truck, container and rail.
The machine works with 170 t press force, up to 610 m³/h volumetric production and a 1,100 x 1,100 mm bale format. In the reference application material provided, bale weight is indicated at around 620-720 kg, with wrapping used to reduce material dispersion during storage and transport.

La lolla di riso è una biomassa sfusa che, se gestita in grandi volumi, può rendere più complesse logistica, stoccaggio e trasporto.
In questa applicazione, la MAC 110/1 lavora sulla lolla di riso producendo b***e ad alta densità, più pratiche da movimentare e più adatte al trasporto su camion, container e vagoni ferroviari.
La macchina opera con 170 ton di spinta, produzione volumetrica fino a 610 m³/h e formato balla 1.100 x 1.100 mm. Nel materiale di riferimento allegato, per questa applicazione il peso balla è indicato in circa 620-720 kg, con fasciatura finale per contenere la dispersione del materiale durante stoccaggio e trasporto.

Piano di Transizione Digitale di Macpresse

Macpresse Europa S.r.l. è beneficiaria di un’agevolazione nell’ambito del Programma Regionale a valere sul Fondo Europeo di Sviluppo Regionale PR FESR 2021-2027 di Regione Lombardia.

Il progetto Piano di Transizione Digitale di Macpresse è cofinanziato dall’Unione Europea, dallo Stato Italiano e da Regione Lombardia.

Il progetto ha riguardato l’implementazione di un sistema DMS (AXIVAR) per la gestione documentale e il tracciamento digitale delle procedure, con l’integrazione di Vault Autodesk e TeamSystem, percorsi formativi per il personale e misure avanzate di cybersecurity a supporto di efficienza, controllo e interoperabilità dei sistemi.
