This October, we’re opening the olive harvest at Casa YUVI to a small group of guests.

A weekend spent harvesting together, sharing meals, tasting the new olive oil and experiencing one of the most important moments of the year on the farm.

The weekend includes two nights at Casa YUVI, breakfast, lunch and two dinners, the olive harvest experience and a visit to the hot baths on Sunday.

Prices are per room for two people:

The grapes have started arriving in the cellar.

After an exceptionally hot summer, some varieties are arriving almost a month earlier than expected.

Over the next few weeks, fermentation will get underway and we’ll start to see how the characteristics and flavours of this year’s grapes develop.

Eight months in.

We planted this new olive grove in December and checked in on it this week after its first summer. Around 40 trees will need replacing, but the rest are doing well.

What’s been just as interesting is watching the field change around them. Previously rotated between wheat, barley and legumes, some of those plants are now reappearing amongst the olives, alongside plenty of other spontaneous growth.

Still very much a young field, but slowly taking shape.

At the end of October, it’s time for the olive harvest, this year we’d like you to join us.

Arrive Friday afternoon for dinner together. Saturday is dedicated to harvesting among the olive trees, with breakfast, lunch and dinner shared at the farm. On Sunday, after breakfast and check-out, we’ll finish the weekend at the hot baths.

Prices are per room for 2 people and include the full weekend: 2 nights at Casa YUVI, all meals, the olive harvest and entrance to the hot baths.
