We can offer you plenty of activities for your free time: mindfulness meditation, trekking and biking, asian cooking class, permaculture introduction course, be introduced to Vegetal Future view, you can be a farmer for a day, enjoy a bowen massage. And don't forget Florence which is just at 1 hour train. If you plan long stays we can suggest you many ideas on what you can do on a weekend trip (art visit, walking ways, seaside spots, etc)
Don't worry if you don't have a car: we often go to the village and anyway we will plan with you your mobility once you're arrived in Tertulia to meet your needings! We are based in the Mugello region, 30 km from Florence. All around the house you will have nature and space. From the front door we can start for fascinating trekking and biking and explore the woods: every season has its hits, in summer bathing in the small rivers, in winter find the snow up the mountains, in autumn enjoy the spectacular colors of the leaves, in spring smell the first flowers and assist to nature awakening. Wild animals are even easy to see (or listen at least). But there even much more, as historical and arts places (2nd world war german cemetery, etruscan archeological sites, castle and palace from the Medici family), musical events (in spring and summer), food and wine exellence to discover. And we will be pleased to share with you our local network of friends, people involved in activities, developing project on the territory, etc. Florence doesn't need any presentation, it's just at one hour train and ready to welcome you with its beauty! And if you have time for weekends we can suggest you the new ways of walk crossing the appennines or beautiful seaside spots, or other curiosity in Tuscany!
