… and the Winner of our 2016 Contest, the one who wins the Prize “5 days for free at Nina Guest House” is…

We will tell you the name shortly but first we want to thank YOU, amazing guests, for the time spent on writing reviews and giving us helpful suggestions to improve the quality of our beloved Lodge and its dwellings.

Your feedback is gold for us since they give to those who don’t know us the guarantee the house really exists and that they will find exactly what they see on the pictures. So the purpose of this contest, and its 800 € value, is to express to you our profound gratitude.

Many time you read about people who book houses portrayed by beautiful pictures but they are totally horrific and dirty in reality. A similar bad experience also happened to one of our guests. After we said our goodbyes he and his friends moved to another city to continue the planned trip but what they found there was nothing they had expected. The apartment booked had poor and dirty furniture and was in bad hygienic conditions. They had to find another place, which it cost them a lot of money and they lost what was already paid for the awful house. He called to tell us what happened, that he missed our house and we felt so sorry to give him only suggestions on how and where to go to denounce it to the police. When you are abroad everything is much more difficult because you don’t speak the language, you don’t know what to do and your time there is limited to few days.

Why are we telling you this story?

First of all to encourage you to always give your feedback on the properties you book online and secondly because it seems it brings good luck since the winner of our contest is the protagonist of the above story!

We were SO HAPPY when we unfolded the little red paper and read his name!

Day Trip:

Molinetto della Croda, Refontolo (TV)

An ancient mill and one of the most picturesque spots in the Treviso valley.
In nearly four centuries of history it has inspired several artists and charmed thousands of visitors.

Its original foundations lay on the bare rock of the mountain, the “croda”, hence the name of Molinetto della Croda. Later additions made it possible to lodge the miller's family.
The mill stopped working in 1953. It was then abandoned for several years and has been recently restored with great care and attention bringing back its original features.

Today, on the ground floor of the building, the accurate re-make of the millstone has finally revived the mill again.
