A Breda di Fregona, in provincia di Treviso, c'è un luogo molto suggestivo: le Grotte del Caglieron 😍 Immerse nella natura, costituiscono un vero tesoro geologico 💎
Sin dal lontano 1500 dalle grotte si estraeva la preziosa 'piera dolz', una pietra utilizzata per la costruzione di cornici e stipiti che ancora oggi si possono osservare nei palazzi più antichi della vicina Vittorio Veneto.
Oggi è possibile visitarle percorrendo delle passerelle in legno, sospese sopra al torrente Caglieron, dalle quali si possono ammirare la profondità della forra, le numerose cascate e le marmitte create dall'azione erosiva dell'acqua 🚶♀️🌲

As far back as the 1500s, the caves were used to extract the precious 'piera dolz', a stone used to construct frames and jambs that can still be seen today in the oldest buildings in nearby Vittorio Veneto.
Today it is possible to visit them by walking along wooden footbridges suspended above the Caglieron torrent, from which you can admire the depth of the gorge, the numerous waterfalls and potholes created by the erosive action of the water 🚶♀️🌲
